The Nairobi Aviation College (NAC) is a college located in Nairobi, Kenya. It was established in 1999 as a college mainly for teaching aviation courses which included Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Operations, Travel and Tourism, and was located in Nature House Tom Mboya Street.
In 2002, the college grew and added other courses like Business studies, Computer studies, Journalism and Hospitality, and was later moved to Uchumi House. The college finally moved to bank house along Moi Avenue in 2018, due to space and proximity of the building for its students.

NAC has two campuses which are the Nairobi Campus (Main Campus) and the Kisumu Campus. The university is associated with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Moi University, and Busonga university in Uganda.
NAC has as mission to produce market-driven graduates who are conscious and responsive to the dynamic challenges in society.

NAC provides academic facilities such as an Aircraft for training its Aeronautical Engineering students, a library, and state of the art media equipments. Moreover, it provides non-academic facilities like a kitchen and a restaurant for its students, accommodations, a bus to facilitate student transportation, and a powerhouse for sports such as football and volleyball.

In 2009, the college was recognized and awarded as the best institution for IATA courses in Africa, which was based on the quality training and qualified tutors, reflecting on students’ performance. The drama and music teams in NAC emerged the best countrywide and got the opportunity to perform for the President at the Statehouse in 2013. Till date, NAC is still recognized as the best in Africa offering IATA courses.

Nairobi is the capital city of Kenya. It is situated in the south-central part of the country, between the cities of Kampala and Mombasa. Inhabitants of Nairobi are called Nairobians. The city was founded by colonial authorities in 1899 as a railway town along the Mombasa-Uganda railway line, and quickly became a centre for the colony’s coffee and tea industry, growing under the British to replace Mombasa as the capital in 1907. Such growth persisted through the 1960s, angering the Maasai and Kikuyu people who wanted their land returned to them. The total population of Nairobi is over 4.6 million, making it the largest city in the country. The city average annual temperatures go from 25.4°C  to 13.1°C.  Nairobi boasts a vibrant urban culture, from music to literature and film, as well as gastronomy. The city is steeped in a rich culture, heritage and history, and this reflected in its people. The city is a mix of culture – religions, traditions, local beliefs.

The city of Nairobi is blessed with several landmarks and impressive infrastructure, recently experiencing a construction boom. Several skyscrapers can be seen towering over the city’s skyline. It has two parks, the Nairobi National Park and Uhuru Park, which provide the city with colourful touristic sites. Several global food chains can be found in the city, like KFC, Subway, Domino’s Plaza, Pizza Hut and Burger King. The city is filled with Kenya’s most important museums, home to masterpieces of African Art centuries old. As far as its economy goes, the city is home to one of the largest stock exchanges in Africa – the Nairobi Securities Exchange – recognised as an overseas stock exchange in 1953 by the London Stock Exchange. It is also the regional headquarters of several international companies and organisations like General Electric, Young and Rubicam, Coca-Cola, and Airtel, all contained within its central business district.
