Industrial Chemistry deals with commercial production of chemicals and related products from natural raw materials and their derivatives. Bachelor of Science Industrial Chemistry provides an understanding of the manufacturing processes in the industry such as unit operations and unit processes.
– The programme takes 4 years
KCSE mean grade of C+ with a minimum grade of C+ in Chemistry/ Physical Science, Mathematics and in either Physics, Biology/ Biological Science or Geography or A-Level two principal passes and one subsidiary pass in the relevant subjects or relevant.

** The Multimedia University of Kenya has three intakes: January (Application Deadline = 19 November 2020), May (Application Deadline = March 2021) and September.
Industrial chemists work in different industries including petrochemicals, polymers, plastics food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, minerals and new materials.

Tuition fee per year for Kenyan Students = Kshs 120,400
Tuition fee per year for International Students = Kshs 136,800
– Students from Countries in the East African Community (EAC), pay the same amount as Kenyan Students. The six countries in the East African Community include; Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
– International students who are not in the East African Community (EAC), pay 20% more than the others for tuition fees.
All students must pay full fees on the reporting day. The payments will be in form of bank deposit slips with their full names and admission numbers written on them as they appear in their Letter of Offer.
