Programme Overview

Masters of Arts in Co-operative and Community Development (MA-CCD) is a two-year program full time and evening mode. It is designed to enable graduates to understand that co-operative is a business just like other business organizations and a hub for human development.
The program prepares the graduates to work in different carrier employment like co-operatives, banking, and other public and private institutions. The program focuses on the various strategies, procedures, management of co-operative and business organization. It equips a graduates with knowledge in business management, co-operative management, microfinance management and community development.

Admission Requirements

Minimum Admission Requirements
Applicants are supposed to hold at least a second-class bachelor degree from a recognised institution of higher learning. Applicants with Postgraduate diploma in relevant fields of study from recognised institutions of higher learning and those with relevant professional qualifications shall also be considered.

Tuition Fees for Tanzanian Students: $862
Tuition Fees for International Students: $1,996

Tuition Fees per year for Tanzanian Students = 2,000,000 TZS
Tuition Fees per year for International Students = 4,628,400 TZS

While the Tuition Fee for the first year is 2,000,000 TZS and 4,628,400 TZS for Tanzanian and International Students respectively, a different amount of 1,500,000 TZS (Tanzanians) and 3,471,300 TZS (International Students) is paid in the Second year.
